About me
Hello everyone,
As part of defining my identity as a designer, I’ve taken time to reflect on the experiences and influences that have shaped my perspective. My name is Stathi Panagiotidis, and I am currently a Graphic Apparel Designer at Capelli Sport in New York City.
I earned my undergraduate degrees in Economics and Graphic Design from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, and completed my Master’s degree in Fashion Management at The New School in 2022.
Originally from Norwalk, Connecticut, I have been passionate about soccer for as long as I can remember. Alongside athletics, I have always found a strong connection to creative expression. From an early age, I was drawn to art—spending time illustrating characters from shows and films such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Sesame Street, and The Lion King.
Like many creatives, I often look to my roots to better understand my perspective. I am proud to have been raised in a close-knit Greek-American family, where a deep appreciation for culture and tradition played an integral role in my upbringing. These early influences continue to inform both my personal identity and creative direction.
Today, I draw inspiration from sports, film, photography, and broader pop culture, integrating these elements into my work. My background and experiences have been instrumental in shaping who I am as a designer, and they continue to guide my evolving creative process
