Hello everyone! In an effort to define myself as a designer, I wanted to take some time to think about who I am. My name is Stathi Panagiotidis and I am currently a graphic apparel designer @ Capelli Sport in NYC. I studied at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, receiving undergraduate degrees in Economics and Graphic Design. I completed my Masters Degree in 2022 in Fashion Management at The New School in NYC. Originally, I'm from Norwalk, CT and have played soccer since I remember. I've also always enjoyed expressing myself artistically. Almost always, we find ourselves looking to our origins, our roots, to see what shaped us to become the person we are today. I am proud to have grown up in a strong Greek-American family with such rich ties our culture. I remember drawing characters from my favorite cartoon shows and movies like Spongebob, Sesame Street, and The Lion King. I like to take my passion for sports, film, photography, and pop culture, and incorporate it in the work that I do. There is no doubt that my origins have played a critical role in molding me into the designer I have and will continue to become. These values will not only define me in life, but in my creative process as well
